About Us
Established in 1991, the Clinic's sole purpose is to treat and educate the community on the different types of vein disorders, its origins, prevention, and treatment.
Located in Tijuana, only minutes away from San Diego, California, Clínica de Venas de México is the first and most comprehensive vein clinic in Mexico.
The Clinic´s director, Dr. José A. Salcedo, has been a pioneer in the field of phlebology for the last 20 years.He is an alumni of the prestigious Universidad La Salle School of Medicine, and an accomplished General Surgeon from Hospital General in Mexico City. Dr. Salcedo turned to the budding field of Phlebology in the early 1990´s thanks to the influence of internationally recognized physicians in La Jolla and Los Angeles, and became the first doctor from Mexico to join an exclusive medical association in California dedicated to the research and treatment of venous disorders.
At Clínica de Venas de México we take pride in treating all kinds of venous disorders. To accomplish a positive outcome, first of all we must reach a precise diagnosis, and then choose the adequate procedure to each individual case. This delicate “diagnosis/treatment” system allows us to treat the venous disorders at its roots and thus achieve the expected results. We custom-plan each treatment plan to accomodate to the patientʼs individual needs.
