Available Treatments
Sclerotherapy
(Treatment for: Spider veins)
Sclerotherapy is a safe and virtually
painless treatment that does not involve surgery.
It consists of injecting in the vein --
with a tiny, disposable needle -- a substance that collapses the vein,
which the body is then able to absorb naturally and completely.
The cosmetic result of sclerotherapy is
outstanding (photo), and our protocol is approved by the American College of
Phlebology.
Ambulatory
Phlebectomy
(Treatment for: Varicose
veins)
This is a surgical procedure performed at
the clinic, using locally applied anesthetics, and requiring no
hospitalization. The patient returns to his or her daily activities
right away.
Ambulatory phlebectomy is widely
considered the procedure of choice to treat varicose veins because it is
the faster and more permanent way to get rid of varicose veins (photo).
In it, the doctor makes extremely tiny
incisions (the largest ones are 1/8th of an inch) and carefully
extirpates the varicose veins.
Treated this way, varicose veins tend not
to form back, because the problem is solved at the very source.
Outpatient
Surgery
(Treatment for: Venous
incompetence complications)
Our outpatient surgery unit is fully
equipped to treat most any case.
Patients are able to go home within a few
hours, and return to their normal activities within a day.
